LO2: Treatment

Medium:

The animation will be comprised of many different drawings which I will then change over different frames to give off the effect of movement over time. This will be the way that I create the animation for both the 2D and the 3D shots. The animation will be published on youtube so that everyone can watch and get this important information for free.

Running Time:

For the running time of the animation I will be making the animation around 1 minute 30 seconds, I have chosen to make the animation this long because I feel that for the target audience and the theme of the animation I will be able to keep the audiences interest for this amount of time meaning that I can create a really effective and short snappy animation packed full of information and facts.

Synopsis:

The animation will be talking about the topic of climate change and particularly the destruction of the amazon rainforests and the endangered animals that live there. I will use a mixture of spoken dialogue and images to convey my points and facts about the amazon rainforest.

Target Audience:

The product will be aimed at a age range of 8 to 70 year olds, this is because of the theme and the importunateness of the animation i want a large amount of different ages to be able to learn something from the animation. From the kids in school who will be learning about the topic for the first time to the people who are older and have the position and opportunity to make the changes to stop this threat.

Purpose: 

The animation is going to be about the environment and the impact that human beings have had on it and where the environment is going to go if nothing is done about it. The animation is aimed firstly at kids and young teens but is also capable of being entertaining for a much wider and older audience.
